Heath - Commercial Fitness Manager & All Round Product Expert

Heath has been part of our parent company (Bernsport) since 2007, and with Achieve since its inception. With over 20 years of industry experience, originally as a personal trainer and in gym management, he now spends most of his time working with key accounts and helping clients and customers find the right equipment for their purpose. Heath also works directly with institutional rehab facilities, physios and government departments. Whether it’s selecting or advising equipment for a gym or hotel fitout and installation, equipment for home use or rehab, Heath will be able to recommend the best equipment for your needs.

Tony - National Sales Manager

Tony has been part of our parent company Bernsport since 2013 and with Achieve since its inception. With over 30 years’ experience in the Fitness, General Sports and Outdoors industries, Tony brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. He played many sports in his younger years, including tennis, rugby, cricket, swimming and golf, along with enjoying fishing in both fresh and salt water. Golf became a passion for Tony where he represented Otago and New Zealand at amateur level. Tony works closely supporting our company reps on the road, as well as working with overseas brand partners with product sourcing and range building.

Taufui - Customer Service/Warehouse Assistant

Taufui joined the Achieve team in 2024 and is now a key team member in many areas of our operation. He manages product assembly, assists our warehouse manager with warehouse operations, provides customer service, and assists our lead salespeople with various parts of the sales process. Outside of work, Taufui is a keen rugby player and enjoys playing the drums with his church band. Passionate about health and fitness, he has embraced every aspect of the business and is dedicated to helping customers find the right solutions to support their active and healthy lifestyles.

Scott - Sales Support & Customer Service

A bona-fide born and bred mainlander, Scott works out of our South Island office in Mosgiel. He too has been with our parent company (Bernsport) since 2013, and with Achieve from its inception. He brings a wealth of experience to the team with 25 years in the sports industry in various roles from retail to sales support and customer service. Scott’s retail experience has given him the key skills needed to work successfully in a customer care role, he appreciates the expectations of customer service and thrives off customer satisfaction. Scott’s love of sports and fishing/outdoor activities is enjoyed predominantly with his two teenage boys who tend to keep him on his toes!

William - General Manager

Having worked overseas in the legal industry for a few years, William has rejoined the family business. He has always had a keen interest in fitness and the outdoors and is excited to be part of the team. After several school holiday jobs in our warehouse many years ago, he is now focused on all elements of this business, including supply chain networks, inventory control and key vendor relationships. He is always looking for growth opportunities so that we can continue to help our customers fulfil an active and healthy lifestyle. He is proud of the high-quality products and service upon which Achieve Fitness has been built, and will strive to make sure that is never compromised.

Enora - Office Manager

Enora has been a critical part of the Achieve team since 2021. Coming from a French and Thai background, Enora has called New Zealand home since 2018. Originally joining the company as a Purchasing Coordinator, it didn't take long for Enora's data analysis and detail orientated skills to become central to many areas of operations. Enora still plays a key role in various aspects of stock control and purchasing for the business in her current role as Office Manager for the North Island office.

Simon - Managing Director

Having been around the fitness industry for nearly 30 years, mainly as a traditional importer/wholesaler, Simon was a little nervous about the direction of our online business. However, after enjoying the more direct contact with customers as well as experiencing the enjoyment customers derive from the products and the Achieve experience, he is now a convert.

With countless visits to factories all over the world, and years of experience developing fitness products, Simon continues to help the planners and product experts source the best products for the Achieve range. Simon’s long-standing commitment to offer the best products, value and service to all our customers provides the basis of everything we do at Achieve.

Becca - Administration Assistant

Becca joined the Achieve team in 2022 bringing with her over 20 years experience in sales and customer service gained through various roles from buying, to supply chain and logistics. Working closely with our suppliers and our third party logistics provider, while providing support to the office manager through aspects of stock management and purchasing, makes no two days the same! Becca has a passion for growth and continuous improvement, always eager to add more tools to her toolbelt while continuing to entrench herself in business operations.

Outside of work, Becca loves the outdoors. In her spare time you can find her enjoying the beach and venturing on nature walks with her kids and their dog, she was also a keen netball player in her youth. Becca is passionate about health and well-being, particularly mental well-being, and is a strong advocate for mental health awareness.

Debbie - Accounts Manager

Originally from South Africa, Debbie has called NZ home for 19 years. With a strong background in accounting and payroll, Debbie has worked in the Manufacturing Industry, Real Estate and Construction. Having also run her own online business, she has developed a keen interest in inventory control and drop shipping and is always looking for ways to improve accounting systems and processes. Outside of work, Debbie enjoys swimming and gardening, long road trips and overseas travel with her husband.

Nathan - Warehouse Manager

Nathan has been with Achieve since 2021 joining the team as a warehouse assistant, assembling products and installing equipment. He has since taken on the role of Warehouse Manager and is understanding the ins and outs of dispatch, spare parts and products. In his spare time Nathan likes to go to the gym and play football. He has spent the past couple of years developing his knowledge of all products which has helped him on a personal level not only to improve his game on the field but to strengthen his workouts to help take him to the next level.

Krystle - Digital Marketing

Krystle originally came to the Achieve and wider Bernsport team in a digital marketing capacity but her natural interest in all things business (and tendency to 'organise') saw her role change significantly over the years. While returning to her 'roots' in digital marketing however, Krystle still enjoys creating efficiencies for the team through systems and processes and thrives off change and continuous improvement. Krystle’s love of sports and outdoors sees her living a rural lifestyle, riding horses, and playing netball and touch rugby - although her young son single-handedly makes sure she gets her daily steps!
